I bought these for the garage door openers, I wanted enough light to be able to see but not so much as to attract insects, etc.With the vibration and the short duty cycles, the garage door openers eat more light bulbs than any other spot in the house.LED lights seem the perfect answer, no filaments to break or burn out.

These produce a focused yellow light, keeping in mind they replace a 30W bulb, 2 of these are not as bright as a yellow 60W bug light.Two of these are a little more bright than a 1.5W white "Lights of America" LED bulb, but not by much.

Contemporary Black "L" Shape Writing Desk with File Cabinets Review

Very satisfied. Assembly took roughly 2 1/2 hours, but that was from the time the movers left until right now, sitting at my computer on the desk. Arrived in 4 packages. The cabinets came pre-assembled, so assembly was primarily linking the giant pieces of wood. The individual pieces are nearly 2" thick. If I need a product sold by this company in future, I doubt I will look any farther; I trust they will continue their design and selection process, for this being my first of their products, I am very satisfied.

This rack is very sturdy and provides lots of much needed space and visibility for smaller pantry items. We use it for spices, boxes of tea and hot chocolate -- it could probably hold heavier items as well but we don't want to weigh down the door too much. 2 Tier Wire Kitchen Shelving Unit Review

This product is OK, sturdy enough with some nice detail, but it has not been worth the hassle dealing with the non-Amazon vendor, Maxtrend.I paid for standard shipping (3 days) because I was given no other alternative and was charged $16.00!The item itself only cost $9.50. Their customer service was unhelpful.Instead of 3 days, it took 8 days to arrive (I think it must have come straight from China even though their c.s. insisted they were located in California).And the final insult: there were no instructions for assembly, not even a line drawing!It was not that difficult to figure out, but I'm not a mechanical genius and would have appreciated a little assistance.

Corner Bar Unit - Honey Maple Review

I weighed the pro and con reviews on Target.com heavily before purchasing this item. I'm pretty happy with it, but there's definitely room for improvement. First of all, the color is much darker than the picture lets on. I got the "Honey Oak" finish, which looked like a light maple in the picture, but it's actually a rich amber color; so I'd imagine the "Mahogany" is much darker, too.

Secondly, the unit is very challenging to put together. I would definitely recommend having a second or even third person around to help, especially is you don't have much experience with flat-pack furniture. The instructions are not very clear, and becomes more awkward to handle as you build.

Another recommendation: Go through the entire package to make sure you have all the pieces you need. Be careful because they throw in a little baggie full of glue that is potentially very messy!!! Also, be sure to have some extra hardware on hand. I had to substitute some of my own screws because the pilot holes they had drilled were too big. So, long story short (too late), this is a nice, if over-priced, item if you're willing take on a flat-pack challenge. This is definitely weekend project - DO NOT attempt to build this thing on a work night. Beer helps, too, but no more than 2 ;-)

I am pleased with the OXO turntable as it is well constructed, turns easily, and items stay in place.However, be aware that with all turntable, the 11 inch measurement is the diameter of the base. On this turntable, the top part where you put items is only 9 inches in diameter due to the wide ring around the top.While that ring adds to the excellent stability of the turntable, it does cut down on usable space -- no small consideration in a tiny kitchen like mine. Because of the quality and stability of the item, the reduced size is a tradeoff I'm willing to make, but this turntable may not be best those where every inch of storage counts.

I'm being very generous with one star. Save your money and just use an old milk crate. Very poorly made. You'd think a simple cube would be easy to assemble. And it would be if all the pieces were cut right.None of these were. The drawer face is a different shade of black than the face trim and the rest of the cabinet. The drawer itself is difficult to open and close and if you do manage to get it open without pulling the entire cabinet over, the drawer often pulls completely out of the cube.

This island matched a cabinet I already had so I was very excited to find it.Shipping was very slow. It was a bit difficult to assemble but I am lucky to have a very handy husband.Unfortunatly it did arrive damaged. There was a large chip on the top and one on the drawer front.I contacted the seller "Home Store Galore" and was told to send the part numbers and they would replace.My husband was able to minimize the damage on the top but we did need a new drawer front. I sent the part number to the seller
but dispite multiple emails to them I never recieved the part.

I beg to differ with previous opinion: The amount of dust on the item can't influencethe quality of the product. Yes it was dusty but it was not big deal on cleaning and shining it up again.
This piece is a best match to my bedroom furniture, I keep my 17" flat panel TV(DVD combo) on it and the DVD movies inside, fits perfectly with the decor, I could/would not find any better addition to my bedroom furniture set.
Package arrived promptly, wery well packed, no damage whatsoever.

I'm using two of these, front-to-back (or whatever the opposide of side-by-side would be), as silverware trays in my very narrow kitchen drawers.They work perfectly for this purpose, although the knives are slightly too long and one end sticks out.

Vornado Under Cabinet Air Circulator - Black Review

Great idea, BUT:
Fan is multi-directional but non-oscillating - oscillation would be a big plus;
More importantly, there are 2 speeds: lame and lamer - this thing does NOT circulate much air at all.
I consider the purchase a mistake, but I won't return it because I've drilled the four holes in my shelf, so it might as well stay there.
Don't buy this model until they can put some more oomph into it, that's my advice.

Knife Display Case Cabinet, storage cabinet Review

Bigger than I realized (read the dimensions dummy!) but that's not bad. The drawers are toooo high! They easily could have been HALF the height (1.25" instead of the 2.5") and then there could have been twice the number of drawers. This was a "Knife Display Case" after all, NOT a Hand Gun Display Case!

The quality is surprisingly good considering the price, however (isn't there always one) there appears to be "bumps" in the wood frame where the nails/screws? are almost pushing through, in several places.

Overall it's worth the "SALE" price.

Sunnywood Prod. ARW2430 Double Door Oak Wall Cabinet Review

We bought three of these cabinets. The first two were fine, but the third one was nothing but trouble. Pieces fell off of it as we removed it from the box: The manufacturer-applied glue failed so one of the strips of wood that was glued to the main piece fell off. A couple of small wood pieces had also broken off near the edges, either during packaging or shipping.

Rather than face the hassle and shipping costs of returning something this size, we decided to make do with epoxy. Next day, after the epoxy had set, we continued the assembly. But while sliding the back of the cabinet into the grooves (as per the instructions), we found it wouldn't fit. This was not in an area that would have been affected by our gluing pieces back on. We had to file the edge of the cabinet down in order to finish the assembly.

It took more time to assemble the 3rd cabinet than it took us to assemble the 1st and 2nd cabinets combined, even without counting the epoxy drying time. And now that it's assembled, I notice the seams don't quite meet under the door on the right side -- There is a 1/16 inch gap. I'm starting to wish we'd sent it back when we first found the broken off pieces, because it will never look quite right.

The other two cabinets have been great, only needing handles to make them look complete. But since we have these cabinets wall mounted at shoulder height, that gap on the 3rd cabinet is always going to remind me of what a hassle it was to put together.

Winsome Wood Hailey Large TV Stand Review

Absolutely love this stand.We had been looking forever for a TV stand for our U-shaped living room for forever! We bought a 3 sided sectional sofa and never thought of how we would set up the TV for everyone to see without mounting it on the wall. We searched Best Buy, IKEA, everywhere but everything that came in brown was more of a fake wood, ply board, or smoked glass, etc mess.This stand looks like a functional part of the living room furniture and not just a TV stand.

Now we are able to have the stand up against the wall and the TV at a diagnal for everyone in the room to see.It is holding up our 46" TV with no problem. I also love that the 1st row of shelves is high enough for the DVD and cable box and we aren't struggling with the line of sight from the remote.

The stand came in about 6 big pieces with easy to understand directions.I had it together in no time.

Letter File Cart - Amber Bamboo Review

Be aware that the wheels do not secure to the bottom of the Legare file cart. That means that if the cart comes up off the ground even slightly, all four wheels will fall off. They are very difficult to get in place again, because they do not snap in, so when you have two wheels in place, they will fall out as you struggle to get the third wheel in place. Given how expensive the shipping was and the small size of the cart, I do not think it is worth the money. Life is too short for aggravating office furniture.

The cabinet was trashed when I received it. Two of the drawer fronts were cracked and each of the corners on the top were dented and scratched. The top was also quite loose and would have come off the piece entirely in a stiff wind. Soooo not worth $80.

Foremost 327501 Modular Door Cube Storage System, White Review

I bought 9 pieces of the modular black Foremost storage cabinets including two of the single-door cabinets. I have had no problems with them and am very pleased. I am unsure if Foremost revamped their product after the reviews were written on some of their other items, but I did not have any problems with assembly or quality. The pieces were cut well and fit together well. I was able to stack all nine modular components as I had hoped without issue. I spent about 2.5 hours assembling all nine cabinets and I did not have to modify any of them or swap parts to make them fit together.

I also bought these units when they were roughly $20 each. I would not have bought two of these cabinet sets at $40 each, as they are not that high quality. The boards do bend rather freely. I do not use these for heavy item storage, but I could definitely see where they would warp easily over time if you did put heavy items in them, or if you had kids climbing on them.

One note with this cabinet is watch which way you install the door. It has raw wood on one edge and the laminate covering on the other. So, if you put it on the wrong way, you will see the raw wood whenever you open the door if you aren't careful.

All-in-all I am pleased with my Foremost modular furniture. It's cheaper than most of the other modular systems out there, and it served the purposes I needed them for.

Altra Furniture Shaker File Cabinet, Birch Review

I ordered this and the matching bookshelf and desk from another retailer. Took about 3 days to assemble using a couple of hours each day after work. The construction seemed OK to me for the price, and I've had it for about a month now. The finished product looks quite nice, especially from afar. Instructions were pretty easy to follow though I messed up a couple of times because I wasn't paying attention to the orientation of the boards. Nothing broke during the assembly, the only thing about the finished product was that the slide-out keyboard shelf under the desk doesn't seem very stable so I didn't use it. The cabinet itself had no problems. I'd recommend getting the whole set though.

Shopping locally, I came to realize that Medicine Cabinets are rather pricey for what you get. THIS cabinet LOOKS great, is BUILT very well, and is well worth the price when compared to other cabinets at the same price point. The mirror is of great quality. The cabinet is molded plastic but one would never know it was plastic. This is MUCH better than those fiber board cabinets that weigh a ton and fall apart. Also better than those flimsy tin cabinets. All mounting hardware is included and installation was very easy. It comes completely asselbled. All you have to do is screw the chrome knob on, and put the two adjustable shelves in and it's set to go.Great product, great price, very happy with this item.

Household Essentials 7024 Rolling Laundry Center with 3 Canvas Bags Review

I bought this laundry center because I needed to hang dry some clothes, but now I realize I think I just needed a rod because I haven't used the sorting bags to date, 2 months later.It's a good idea to include sorting bags, but I think another nice alternative would have been a rod on top and a flat drying area on the bottom.So if you just need a rod for hanging drying, there's cheaper items out there.But if you really need the sorting bins, go for it.

PS it came in an amazingly small box....it wasn't stable until every last piece was assembled.If it was $20 (twenty dollars) I would have been happier, I think it's slightly over priced.

Tall Microwave Cabinet - Cherry Review

I first saw this product on another major retailer's website for $199 so I was excited to see it here cheaper. I did read the reviews on the competitor's website and they were mostly negative so I was prepared that this product may less-than-perfect.

Yes, it is a tad bit flimsy. As you progress putting it together it does seem to come together but it still wobbles when you finally stand it up like Grandma Franny after a few-too-many mimosas. I've read other reviewers say they had better success buying some brackets to reinforce the entire unit. That's our plan for tomorrow. We've already hit the home improvement store once today to buy new cam connectors. Do yourself a favor, count the cams and then go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy House-Mates 15mm x14mm Cam Connectors to replace the ones that come with the unit. The ones that come with the unit cheap and they break when you're trying to screw the cam screw into them. We should have just replaced all of them and saved ourselves some trouble.

While I'm talking like I put it together myself, I was just the cheerleader and the "hold-it" girl. My husband is the put-it-together-er.Yes folks, there was a lot of swearing involved so if you're anything like my husband, have the children head over to a friend's house to play while you're putting it together so they don't learn some new "colorful" language. There was a minimal amount of tool-chucking, though, so it wasn't as bad as some projects my husband has had to undertake.

Overall, I like the look of the unit, it's tall and comes with plenty of storage room. I like the glass doors that cover the top shelf of the cabinet. I didn't have a problem with any damaged pieces until we attempted to put the back on the unit; one nail managed to splice the facing board on the microwave shelf and split the particle board where it meets the cam connector. Hello Super Glue and since the microwave will cover that area, it should be fine. Just use some caution when you're nailing the back cardboard (pretty thin) onto the back of the unit.

By the way, the box this comes in is really heavy. Luckily my husband was home when UPS delivered it or it would have sat outside on my porch until he could come home and move it. I would have never gotten it into the house on my own.

Legaré Letter-Size File Cart Review

I just bought this with a Legare 48-Inch Straight Desk, Wheat.From the pictures it looked great: matches the desk, is cute, stackable, and I know their desks are very good... promising.Unfortunately, in my excitement I ignored a few of the more lucid, lukewarm reviews of this product, and now I am left agreeing with them.The desk is great, but I would not recommend the cart.What set apart the Legaré desk are two main things: good solid materials, and an excellent design that makes it easy to assemble, functional, and pleasing.The file cart misses the mark.

In the case of materials, they are mostly good and solid.The bottom and sides are the same material as the desk.The wheels themselves are also good.The rails for the hanging folder are terrible.They are pieces of a cheap, flimsy sheet metal (I think it's metal) bent into a square U shape.The folders do not slide or sit easily in them because their hooks rest on the rough, sharp, bendable edge.

In the case of design, I was disappointed.The pieces are designed in a similar slot-together fashion, but for some reason, perhaps just because you are making a box this time, it was actually much harder to juggle the pieces, fit them together properly, and snap them in.Overall it was frustrating.The wheel attachments are also very poor.The wheels should snap in, at least lightly, but they do not.The cart just sits on the wheels, and they have very short pins.That means two things:(1) You cannot attach the wheels by flipping the cart over, because they will fall out when you try to flip it back.You have to put it on the ground and fiddle around underneath to stick them up in their holes.Note: You have to do them one side (i.e. two) at a time, or you'll always have at least one falling out as you put another in.(2) If you so much as slightly lift the cart off the floor, the wheels will fall out.Back to #1.Alternatively, leave the wheels off the cart and put it on the floor.

With the wheels off, it's not a terrible cart, once assembled.The only issue is the railings for the hanging folders.The Legaré desk sets itself apart relative to other desks on the market, fitting together very easily rather than needing to be assembled or moved in one piece, and being particularly simple and functional.The Legaré cart also sets itself apart relative to other hanging file holders on the market, being more complicated and more of a headache.I will keep the product because it does work, and is fine, but you really should not spend the money on this.Just get a plastic hanging folder box.It won't match your desk, but it will hold more, work better, be cheaper, and still fit underneath.

Lynk Professional Under Sink Storage Tray Review

Since we renovated our kitchen we have become organization freaks. This product was a definite help. The under sink area used to be a mess with bottles of cleaner pushed to the back (and sometimes knocked over and leaking). The drawer allows you access to those items.

We had to install it on an angle to work around our excessive plumbing pipes (not sure what the plumber was doing down there) but it works that way, just looks a bit off-balance. I really like the quality of the product - it's very stable and easy to install. The only thing I would like would be for the lower drawer to be wider. It doesn't store a lot.It did give us a place to store the wet sponge and sink plug, which is a major plus. The upper shelf has a stiff plastic liner so no dripping on the items below.
On the whole, very nice. A bit pricey, but worth it for the convenience.

Service was good and the item was shipped for free and arrived quickly. Communication from the company was very good.

Elite Home Fashions Shower Rod and Hook Set Review

Very attractive rod and hook set. Colors in picture are accurate. The only complaint I have is the hooks tend to get caught on the plastic where the rod extends in the middle, and the hook itself should be longer around so as not to come off the rod so easily while you're pulling the curtain. But, I've noticed this is a recurring problem with most shower curtain hooks.

Media Storage Cabinet Windowpane Doors in Oak Finish Review

This is the 2nd cabinet we bought like this.It took my husband about 3 hours to assemble - he's very careful.The doors on the 2nd one didn't line up as well as our 1st one, but the cabinet still closes and stays closed. We use these as a His & Hers DVD/VCR cabinets. We filled the 1st one, but instead of buying a cabinet that takes up an entire wall, we bought this one twice.These can be easily moved to different areas, wherever the need is.The adjustable shelves make it practical for DVD, VHS, and CD storage.We like the size of this as well because it doesn't dominate our living room. The wood & glass is nice, and the arched windows at the top add style. This cabinet is carried by a lot of vendors for widely varying prices. Buy the cheapest because it's the same manufacturer.
