I bought these for the garage door openers, I wanted enough light to be able to see but not so much as to attract insects, etc.With the vibration and the short duty cycles, the garage door openers eat more light bulbs than any other spot in the house.LED lights seem the perfect answer, no filaments to break or burn out.

These produce a focused yellow light, keeping in mind they replace a 30W bulb, 2 of these are not as bright as a yellow 60W bug light.Two of these are a little more bright than a 1.5W white "Lights of America" LED bulb, but not by much.
