Great idea, BUT:Fan is multi-directional but non-oscillating - oscillation would be a big plus;
More importantly, there are 2 speeds: lame and lamer - this thing does NOT circulate much air at all.
I consider the purchase a mistake, but I won't return it because I've drilled the four holes in my shelf, so it might as well stay there.
Don't buy this model until they can put some more oomph into it, that's my advice.
