Especially with the free shipping deal, this is competitive with any other prices I found for pre-assembled stemware racks.If you have a router and/or a compound miter saw you could probably build one a little cheaper, but for about twenty bucks, your time would have to be fairly cheap.The rack is sized to accomodate our big 25-ounce Burgundy glasses just as easily as it holds our little port glasses and champagne flutes, thanks to the beveled rails that hold the bases of the glasses.It is a nice design feature which seems cosmetic but turns out to be functional.
The rack was absolutely trivial to install in our existing kitchen cabinet shelf; the included self-drive screws do not require pre-drilling.I found it less fatiguing to drive the screws in an 'X' sequence, so that after the second screw, I no longer had to support the structure while driving them.The entire installation took about 3 minutes, including removal of the glasses from the existing shelf, and replacing them into the rack. Not bad!
I much prefer this style of rack over the chrome wire-rail styles.
