Plan to spend all day assembling.Instructions are fairly easy to use, cabinet is easy to assemble but it's easier with 2 people. It helps to watch the videos on the website before you assemble the lift.Customer service is excellent.Cabinet is heavy, sturdy and just the right size.Some of the veneer came off because they put tape on the decorative part so be careful removing tape.You will need to order the custom insert when you order the cabinet...it is 79.99 extra.Overall, I think it is a great cabinet...a bit pricey, but it seems like it will hold up for a long time.

While this item has to be assembled, it is really quite easy to do.I am absolutely pleased with mine.Although one of the doors was broken in two upon arrival, a call to the manufacturer per the enclosed instructions resulted in a replacement door being received within 2 days.
I have beeen looking for a sewing table that can be stored out of sight and is adjustable for different applications. This fit the bill, I can use it as a table with plenty of workspace and my freearm sewing machine can become a flatbed. I would recommend this to others.
If you are looking for a great little sewing table, this is it.It's stout, a good height and a nice size.I had previously purchased a nice wooden sewing table with expandable sides, so that it looked like a piece of furniture.The reality was that it wasn't stout enough to handle the sewing machine so it was very uncomfortable to sew.This fit my needs perfectly and I'm very happy with it.
