I had been looking at these Louis Phillipe File Cabinets for a long time.I have matching bedroom furniture and my husband's office is in an alcove off the bedroom, which is very noticeable in the bedroom. I purchased two and they are a beautiful addition to the office.They are the perfect height and can be used either laterally (for legal files) or front to back (2 sets of letter files fit in one drawer).They were packed very well, but one cabinet had a defect.I assume it was on the original end that the wood was damaged, because they were packed so carefully that it would have been impossible to happen in transit.It was not worth it to me to send them back and as it was on the back edge, it does not affect the view.
