These are great undercabinet lights. The quality of the Xenon light is perfect, like sunlight. Installed correctly, you get nice even task lighting that also, as a bonus, makes granite countertops look incredible. I have them on dimmers, which I highly recommend. They do get warm, however, so I would think you wouldn't want to put temperature-sensitive foods on the bottom shelf of the cabinets. If you have a separate pantry, this is a non-issue.
